Oct 16/09 - Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers Show a Huge Success

On October 14th, the Clarenville Caribous were proud to bring Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers to Clarenville. The show was the first event held at the new Clarenville Events Centre, and was a complete success with a sold out show.

Everyone in attendance got treated to a toe tapping, laugh out loud funny show, that only Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers can do. For most, this was the first time they’ve gotten to see the new CEC (Clarenville Events Centre) and everyone agrees that this new building is very impressive, and fans are even more eager for the beginning of the hockey season to begin.

A big thank-you goes out to all the dedicated volunteers who helped pull this evening of laughter together, as well as to the contractors and their employees for digging deep and getting the CEC ready for this show.

The next event to take place at the CEC now will be the Clarenville Caribous Home Opener on October 31st, when the Caribous will face the Deer Lake Red Wings. As well fans will be treated to the raising of the 2008-09 WSCHL Championship and the 2008-09 Herder Memorial Championship banners.
